Casa Maevi was born from a dream that took shape day by day: to create a genuine place, made of nature, connections, listening, and shared beauty. It’s more than hospitality. It’s a way of life.
Maevi: a word that tells our story.
In Polynesian, “Maeva” means “welcome.” It’s a word we loved from the very beginning because it’s more than a greeting; it carries an idea of simple, authentic hospitality.
For us, it means offering a real sense of welcome, made of carefully designed spaces and an atmosphere that puts you at ease from the very first moment. A place to arrive, leave everything else behind, and find your own rhythm, between nature and simplicity.
And this is how MaeVi came to life: a union that reflects who we are, what we are building, and how deeply personal this project is to us.
A place, a choice
We chose to slow down and start again from here.
Casa Maevi was born this way: from the desire to consciously choose how to live, taking back our time and our space to build something that truly reflects us.
We shifted our balance towards nature, following the rhythm of the seasons and carving out more time for ourselves. In the Euganean Hills, we found all of this and decided to stay.
Casa Maevi is exactly that: a simple yet thoughtfully curated place, surrounded by greenery, where nature becomes the backdrop of every day. And with us, there’s also Bombay, our dachshund, always around between the house and the garden.
A place to discover
The Euganean Hills are meant to be experienced slowly.
Paths winding through the hills, roads leading to small villages, wineries where you can stop, and days that unfold naturally.
It’s a land rich in history, but above all in simple moments, the kind that stay with you. As you walk the trails and pause among the greenery, it’s not uncommon to encounter nature up close: a hare in the fields, birds in flight, the quiet presence of animals that inhabit these places.
This is also what makes the Euganean Hills a place unlike any other.
